What is Trago?
Trago is an Android app for voice translation between Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) and British English (EN-GB), developed by InsightValues. It is designed to work without an internet connection, with speech recognition and translation processed locally on the device.
When will Trago be available?
Trago is still in development. The next step is full validation of features on real devices. Distribution will be via Google Play. There is no confirmed release date at this time. Get in touch with InsightValues to follow progress.
How does Trago work without internet?
Trago uses speech recognition and translation models that run directly on your Android device, without sending audio or text to external servers during normal use. Models are downloaded once when the App is installed.
How is my data handled?
All translation and history is processed and stored locally on your device. Trago does not create accounts, does not sync data to the cloud, and does not share your history with third parties. For full details, see the Trago Privacy Policy.
How do I export my translations?
When available, the App will offer export of translation history in TXT, PDF, and DOCX formats, directly to your device storage. This feature is in development.
How do I delete my data?
All translation history is stored only on your device. You will be able to clear it in the App’s settings or Android settings. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored Trago data.
Does Trago support languages other than PT-BR and EN-GB?
Currently, Trago is focused on translation between Brazilian Portuguese and British English. Support for additional languages is on the roadmap but has no set timeline.
Is the App available for iOS?
No. Trago is in development for Android only. An iOS version is on the roadmap but has no scheduled date.
